Design on Status Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis System of Scraper Conveyor in Fully Mechanized Coal Mining Face

In order to establish a safety, high production and high efficient unmanned automatic coal mining face, according to the present status of the lacking stat us monitoring and measuring as well as fault diagnosis system to the scraper conveyor of the fully mechanized coal mining face, a status monitoring and measuring as well as fault diagnosis system of the scraper conveyor applied in the fully mechanized coal mining face was designed and developed based on the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) .The paper introduced the completed structure of the system and stated the status monitoring and measuring and fault diagnosis function of the system and the realized process.The actual application results showed that the operation of the system was stable and the measuring accuracy was high.The system could be accurately to on time monitor and measure the operation status of the scraper conveyor, to diagnose the operation fault of the scraper conveyor and to provide the early warning information.
