Fully-Mechanized Coal Mining Technology of Steep Thick Seam in Huainan Mining Area

  • In order to have a safety and high efficient mining purpose from the fully-mechanized coal mining in the slice of the steep loose and thick seam, the pape r analyzed the mining conditions of No. 3232 ( 3) coal mining face and the fully-mechanized coal mining technical experiences in the steep seam of Lizuizi Mine, and pu t forward an equipment selection and matched plan of the fully-mechanized coal mining. According to the production practices on the gas control of the coal mining fac e, mining technique, roof control and other conditions, specially when the seam inclination of the coal mining face over 53°, a new dismantling technique of the fully-me chanized coal mining equipment was reformed and innovated. The trial results showed that the 'three machines' matched equipment of the selected coal mining face Co uld meet the requirements of the fully-mechanized coal mining in the steep thick seam. The average month coal production during the mechanized mining period was 4 2600 t and was 20 000 t higher than the drilling and blasting coal mining monthly. Rational arranged winch, floor reinforcement, skidway and anti coal rejects flying wal I, equipment alternatively dismantling and other measures were conducted during the period of the fully-mechanized coal mining equipment dismantled and the coal min ing face terminated and thus the safety and rapid dismantling of the equipment was realized.
