Study on Influencing Factors for Biogenic Gas Production in lignite

  • In order to improve the uillization rate of lignite, the enriched bacterial consortia of methanogenic production were used to stimulate the biogenic gas pro duction of Baiyinhua lignite obtained from Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Firstly, eight factors such as temperature, pH value, coal particle size, the concentration 0 f NaCl, coal slurry density, the vitamins, trace elements and yeast, which might affect the gas production of lignite were tested by the single-factor experiment. The resu Its showed that the temperature, pH value, the concentration of NaCI and coal slurry density had relatively significant influence on gas production of lignite. On the cont rary, the coal particle size had weaker effects. Furthermore, the vitamins and trace elements promoted the gas production. However, the yeast extracts inhibited it to so me extent. Finally, through the orthogonal test, the optimal conditions of biogenic gas production was 45。C, pH 6. 0, coal slurry density40 g/L and the concentration of NaCI 0. 3%, and the gas production of which was up to 97.84 μmol/ g.
