Study on stability of slope affected by goaf based on MIDAS software

  • In order to solve the problem of the influence of the goaf on the stability of the ground slope, according to the engineering geological conditions, the strength reduction principle and other relevant data, the large-scale commercial geotechnical finite element analysis software Midas was used to form the formation of a goaf in Shanxi. The three-dimensional numerical simulation of the deformation and failure of the mining slope under the influence of new and old goaf under natural conditions. The simulation analysis under horizontal displacement, vertical displacement and shear strain increment was proposed, and the stability of the mining slope was qualitatively and quantitatively evaluated. The results showed that under the natural goaf condition, the shear zone was distributed above and on both sides of the goaf, and completely extended to the top of the slope after the goaf; there was no shear zone favorable to the sliding of the slope on the inclined section of the slope, and the stability of the slope was 1.738, which was greater than the safety factor of 1.300, and the slope was in a stable state.Under the action of lateral thrust caused by subsidence deformation in the goaf, the stability coefficient of the slope was 1.154.According to the relevant standard slope stability evaluation standard, the slope stability factor was greater than 1.050 and less than the safety factor of 1.250 specified by the specification, the slope is in a substantially steady state.
