Design method of double platform sinking headframe of large mine shaft

  • According to many years design practices on the sinking headframe of the mine shaft in China, a space finite element analysis method was applied to th e research and development on the new double platform sinking headframe of the mine shaft. The paper systematically analyzed the selection on the main structure of t he headframe, the calculation on the construction load, structure checking calculation and other contents. The research and development on the double platform series sinking headframe could meet the construction of the mine shaft with a max net diameter of 12 m and a depth of 1 200 m and maximally the headframe could arrange fo ur sets of the hoists simultaneously. Each hoist could have a limit suspension load over 10 000 k N. The new double platform sinking headframe was applied to the min e shaft engineering of No. 1 Mine Auxiliary Shaft ( the mine shaft diameter of 10 m and a depth of 660 m) in Dahaize Mine, China. The function of the upper hoisting pla tform and the low suspension platform could be divided, thus the equipment layout space could be larger and the layout mode could be more flexible. Meanwhile, the he ight of headframe gravitational center could be effectively reduced and would be favorable to the integration stability. The successful research and development as well as the application of the new double platform sinking headframe verified the accuracy of the headframe design method.
