Automatic Mining Technology Based on Shearer in Thin Coal Seam

  • According to the characteristics of shearer's high cutting efficiency, strong rock breaking capacity, good adaptive performance, the automated complete s ets of fully-mechanized coal mining face based on the shearer were developed. In order to solve the matching-size problem of complete sets with the installed power, th e new structure of hydraulic support were adopted, including compact flat armored conveyor chain, ultra thin seam scraper conveyor with cast welding structure of the C entral groove, parallel arrangement cutter motor of shearer, horizontal and parallel arrangement of cutter motor and haulage power, and new structure of hydraulic supp ort of plate canopy and over-lapping arrangement stabilizing ram, so as to the farthest lower machine height to satisfy the matching requirement of thin coal seam equip ment. Through the centralized control system of fully-mechanized working face and manpower centralized control center's remote control operation, the bidirectional cut ting coal could be realized automatially and the automatic mining of thin coal seam face came true.The shearer has been exploiting the thin coal seamof0.6~ 1. 3 m in Xuecun Mine of Fengfeng Group, which realized the centralized control of mine tunnels and automatic mining without manual operation in the mine face, with a mont hly production of 118 thousand tons and annual production of 1 million tons. The safe and high efficiency exploitation of thin coal seam could be achieved.
