Comprehensive Survey Technology of Water Flow Sink Hole in Guojiashan Mine

  • According to the wide distribution of the sink holes in Huabei type Coalfield and the high mine water threat problems, in order to overcome the explanatio n uncertainty of the geological structure in the advance detected geological prediction with a single transient electromagnetic method, the transient electromagnetic met hod could only explore a watery abnormal zone in front of a heading face and the mine seismic wave method could be applied to explore a form variation and scope of t he coal-rock stratus in the watery zone. The exploration results combined with the two geophysical exploration methods were applied to analyze and judge the geologica | structure types in front of the heading face and to verify the drilling explorations. The exploration results showed that a comprehensive geophysical exploration means with the transient electromagnetic method and the mine seismic wave method and the drilling exploration verification method could be applied to realize the advance pr ediction of hidden water bearing and water flow structures in front of the heading face.The accuracy of the prediction was highly improved.Based on the real time explor ation results, the heading operation plan could adjusted in order to prevent a mine water inrush accident caused by misjudgment or missed opening of a water bearing a nd water flow structure during a mine roadway heading or coal mining process.
