Application of ground directional borehole technology to control prevention karst collapsed column water inrush in coal mines

  • In order to control the major water inrush accident in Panji No.2 coal mine, a scheme for intercepting the source of the ground oriented horizontal hole technology was proposed. The water inrush occurred on the bottom of the No.12123 working face and the lower bottom pumping roadway of Panji No. 2 coal mine. The instantaneous maximum water inrush reached 14 000 m3/h, and the mine was partially flooded. Because there are lakes and multiple goafs above the working face, choose the ground-oriented horizontal drilling construction scheme, construct a horizontal horizontal plugging main hole on the ground to fill the sandstone aggregates at the water inrush point to complete the filling and form the roof cap. Then, through the main hole, the grouting station is filled with cement slurry to complete the plugging work of the collapse column, and four horizontal branch holes are constructed to explore the morphological characteristics of the collapse column. The results show that the water channel of the collapse column was successfully blocked and the water shutoff rate reached 100%. It shows the superiority of the ground-oriented horizontal drilling technology in the water inrush of the collapse column, and provides valuable experience for the treatment of similar water inrush accidents in the future.
