Support Technology of Seam Gateway of Irregular Fully-Mechanized Top Coal Caving Mining Face Along Fault Layout

  • According to the roof broken, roof leakage, high deformation and other problems occurred in the support of the seam gateway with the suspended top co al along the fault in No.3 up 401 irregular fully-mechanized top coal caving mining face in Fucun Mine, with the site investigation, FLAC3D numerical simulation analysis and site test, the paper had a study on the surrounding rock deformation law and control technology of the mining gateway with the suspended top coal along the fault i n the fully-mechanized top coal caving mining face.The bolt + anchor + reinforced bar ladder + steel mesh support applied to the surrounding rock to form an effective I oading body could be the key to keep the integrated stability of the seam gateway with the suspended top coal along the fault in the fully-mechanized top coal caving mi ning face. The engineering practices of the air retuning gateway in No.3 up 401 coal mining face showed that after five months of the gateway driven, the max deformati on value of the bolts in the roof and sidewall of the gateway was 18 and 32 mm individually and the support effect was excellent.
