  • In order to evaluation the Zhiluo formation sandstone aquifer water abundance of Jurassic coalfield in northern Shanxi province,the water abundance influential factors were analyzed; Ultimately,the equivalent thickness of aquifer,sand-mudstone ratio,core recovery percentage and the number of sand-mudstone alternating layer were determined as four independent evaluation index,a method of sandstone aquifer water abundance evaluation based on watery structure index was built.This method was applied to the Jinjitan coalmine,its water abundance evaluation of sandstone fractured aquifer of Zhiluo formation was done,and the results showed that this method which constituted by he porosity,permeability and grain size of the sandstone aquifer can well eliminate the correlation among the influencing factors and reflect the Zhiluo formation sandstone fractured aquifer water abundance; Using the G value as the partition threshold,if G value is less than 0.15,the corresponding area is zoned as weak rich water area which are mainly distributed in the southwest and northeast if the Jinjitan coalfield,otherwise,is zoned as strong water abundant area.finally the water abundance partition map was made,it was compared with the obtained hydrogeological parameters of pumping test,the evaluation results is in line with reality,and the watery structure index evaluation method provides an effective way for the Zhiluo formation sandstone aquifer water abundance of Jurassic coalfield in northern Shanxi province.
