  • In order to study on the mine pressure behavior law and the powered support suitability situation of the high cutting coal mining face in the shallow depth seam, the KBJ-6011I-1 type working resistance continued recorder of the powered support was applied to the site measurement and analysis on the first coal mining fac e in Suancigou Mine. The results showed that the mine initial pressurized distance of 52 m occurred in the coal mining face was basically fit with the theoretical calculati on results of 54.1 m;the periodical pressurized distance would be increased with the mining face advancing speed increased and when the coal mining face advancing s peed reached at 4 m/d and 13 m/d, the periodical pressurized distance would be 12.8 m and 21.8 m individually;during the pressurized period, the working resistance di stribution features of the powered supports would have high resistances at the middle part of the coal mining face and the rated work resistance ratio would be 96%, th e work resistances of the powered supports at the two ends would be low and would not be over 91% of the rated work resistance ratio.Finally, based on the analysis 0 n the operation features of the powered support, the paper confirmed that the 2400/5000-2x4412-1750 type hydraulic powered support could meet the requirements of t he roof strata control during the pressurized period.
