  • According to a mine thyristor phased array charger could not realize a high frequency intelligent charging, energy bidirectional flow and others, the paper provided a design plan of a high frequency intelligent rapid charger for the mine lead acid battery pack and had a study on a topology circuit structure of the main circuit, working principle of the rapid charging and intelligent charging method. The charger was consisted of a multi link power conversion unit. A variable current intelligent rapid charging and discharging method was applied. An optimum charging curve was automatically matched and the rapid charging was conducted with a constant current and constant voltage. Therefore,a conversion was realized from the input of three phase AC380 V/660 V to DC0~550 V. The results of the installation and adjustment as well as the operation test showed that the high frequency and intelligent rapid charger of the mine lead acid battery pack could realize the rapid charging and transient discharging and could have the energy bidirectional flow, rapid charging, transient discharging, fast dynamic response, high intelligent degree and other features.
