  • According to the belt longitudinal tearing fault of the belt conveyor, a new method of the embedded image process technology based on ARM9 was provi ded to the detection of the belt tearing.With the application of the Thread mutex method of the Linux operation system, the image collection and the image distinguishin g could individually conducted without any interferences to each other.In the processing of the thread, the normal belt images could be directly rejected and the inner st orage would not be increased.The belt longitudinal tearing detection system was applied to the Donghuantuo Mine of Tangshan Kailuan Group with good experiment eff ects.In comparison with the PC computer, the efficiency and the real time of the image processing would be highly improved.The system structure would be highly simpl ified and could have the flame proof, fast speed, low power consumption, small volume and other features.
