  • According to the different problems which had encountered in boring construction, such as taking a long time to azimuth angle adjustment, movement an d persistent, great labour intensity, low working efficiency, the authors studied these problems using modular design method then track-mounted drilling rig with the effe ct of acrossing transportation belt had been designed. The industrial test showed that the rig had many merits such as large adjustable range of inclination, depression angle and azimuth angle, the ability of working in the construction condition of stride across transportation belt and short auxiliary time of construction. Therefore, it was suitable for working with high efficiently in the special gateway condition, such as haulage roadway.
