  • In order to reveal the hydrocarbon features and hydrocarbon generation potential of the kochenite in coal of Shandong Huangxian Basin, the paper discu ssed the significances of the hydrocarbon generation.The fluorophotometry experiment, thermal simulation experiment under an open system and other method were ap plied to the study on the fluorescence characteristics and pyrogenation hydrocarbon generation features of the kochenite in the humic coal of the area, the results show ed that the kochenite in the area had a high hydrocarbon generation capacity.When the simulated temperature was at 320 °C,the mass ratio of the extraction and raw s ample could reach to 0.851 and was higher than other maceral of the liptinite. .When the hydrocarbon generation and expulsion was early and the vitrinite reflectance Ro was 2.8%, the total hydrocarbon value in each gram sample could reach to 0.4 g.
