According to thegateway driving easy to reveal the goaf problem before the reproduction of the integrated mine,based on the theoretical analysis numeri cal simulation and mine strata pressure observation and based on the high falling zone met during the gateway driving and the different conditions of the empty gatewa y,the bolt,anchor/steel mesh and stone brick lined H type steel shield support multi layers combined support technical means were applied to the reinforced support of t he surrounding rock in and along the driving gateway in the goaf,to solve the surrounding rock control technology with poor overburden strata strength in the goaf and p oor self loading structure.The practices showed that the reinforced support technology could effectively ensure the surrounding rock stability of the gateway,the converg ence of the two sidewalls was 118141 mm and the roof and floor convergence was 123 33 mm.
