  • According to the frequency selectivity decline caused by the multipath transmission of the ultra wideband radio system (UWB) system applied in the mine roadway, the MB-OFDM technology was applied to the UWB system in the underground mine and the modelling and analysis was conducted on the MB-OFDM ultra wid eband radio channels in the mine environment.Based on the model of the IEEE802. 15.3a standard channel and according to the actual environment of the mine roadwa y, the signal channel parameters of MB-OFDM ultra wideband radio channel system in the underground mine was determined. The surge response simulation diagram of the channel model was provided. The results showed that the surge response would be multipath clusters obviously, which would be the same to the phenomenon of the UWB multipath clusters verified in the actual measurement. The simulation provided the three main feature data of the average additional time delay, the mean square r oot time delay and multipath number for the channel.
