  • According to the requirements of the special environment to the wireless communication in underground mine, an analysis was conducted on the require ments of the personnel positioning technology in underground mine.With the TD-SCDMA special network as the support, a personnel positioning plan was provided bas ed on the angle of arrival (AOA) and the time advance TA technology.The TD-SCDMA system with the intelligent antenna technology could make the Node B base statio n favorable to the mine personnel with the angle of arrival of UE.The Node B could calculate the distance from Node B to UE according the TA value in the measuring re port provided by the UE and thus the accurate positioning of the mine personnel could be realized.With the analysis and comparison on the test data collected from the simulated roadway, the results showed that the plan applied could effectively improve the accuracy of the underground mine personnel positioning.
