  • Based on the difficulty of detecting the geological borehole sealing's quality surrounding tunnel, the authors studied how to circle the low resistivity anom aly area combined with geophysical prospecting and drilling method.Due to the poor sealing borehole could connect the roof and floor aquifer, the apparent resistivity of area surrounding the poor sealing borehole was low.Transient electromagnetic method was used to circle the low resistivity anomaly area in front of tunnel, and this ano maly area was verified by drilling borehole to detect the poor sealing borehole . According to the actual information of No.130604 working face when driving in Maiduosh an Mine, the theoretical results were consistent with the actual situation.The result showed that, the range of anomaly area could be reduced by geophysical prospectin g significantly, drilling fan-shaped borehole for the anomaly area could determine whether there was a poor sealing borehole further.Based on the two methods, the wat er disaster of poor sealing borehole could be avoided effectively during drivage.
