  • In order to solve the serious floor heave and deformation problems in No.2 Level Railway Roadway of Taoyuan Mine, based on the great site investigatio ns, the high stress of the roadway surrounding rock, the poor lithology of the floor and no support means to the floor were the factors to cause the serious floor heave of the mine roadway.Based on the view to improve the floor strength and the stability of the whole support structure, the steel bar ladder beam and the bolts with a length of 1.5 m, 2.5 m and 3.0 m were combined to support the floor of the mine roadway with a bolt space of 1.1 m and a bolt row distance of 0.7 m.The mine pressure observ ation results showed that after the slice combined bolt support technology applied, the max floor heave occurred in No.2 Level Railway Roadway would not be over 10 mm and the average bolting force of the bolt would not be over 30 kN.Thus the floor heave problem in No.2 Level Railway Roadway in Taoyuan Mine was effectively sol ved.
