  • The ecologic environment of west China coal mining area was fragie and the shallow sean closed to the lose stratum would ofren met with the dangers of the water inrush and sand inush disaster during the mining period. with several years stucy and development.great chievements were obtained from the basic study.engineeing practices and other areas. The present water inrush and sand inrush studly stuity was focused on the three aspects of the mechanism,prediction and prevention.The study on the water inrush and sand inuish mechanism was conduced with the estabishmen of the sand paricle mechanics stoucture model.esthydrodyoanics and oter methods .The predicton of the water inrush and sand inrush was conducted with the ge ological o dition comparison,ydraulic gradient judgement,mult factors comprehensive nl ysis and other methods The prevention and controlof the water inrsh and sand inrsh would be conducted to reduce the underground water table before the mining operation conducted a a key and diferent engineering measures would be appied to reduce the risks of the water inrush and sand inrushBased on the sunmaizing the relevant research resuits taking the water preserved nining as the mission,.the paper pointed out the orientaton of the waterinrush andsand inrush study.
