  • In order to solve the roadway support difficult problem that surrounding rock of weakly consolidated watery roadway in western China, poor cementation and low strength,more serious under the influence of roof water, based on No.111801 head entry of Dananhu Mine, the comprehensive use of laboratory tests, numerical simulation and field measurement and other methods are carried out to study on the problem. It is found that the weakly consolidated rock mass contains plenty of water-absorbent and expansive clay minerals with many internal pores and fissures. Under the action of water, the rock mass tends to muddy, disintegrate and weather, resulting in the weakening of the rock mass. Therefore, the roof aquifer is a key factor in the deformation and failure of the weakly consolidated roof. Engineering practice shows that the deformation of the surrounding rock is controlled, after adoption of a comprehensive control technique for reasonable water retention with grouting cable anchor, controllable water draining with arranging technical parameters of drainage holes and anchor cable support of high performance and high reliability.
