  • According to the energy waste and environmental pollution problems caused by low gas drainage gas uiiation rate in China coal mines, it was very nec essary to study the coal mine gas separation and storage application technology. This paper reviewed the advantages of gas hydrate separation and major methods, inc luding chemical method, mechanical method, external field effect method and composite strengthening method. The advantages and disadvantages of above methods a nd separation effects were discussed under different technical conditions. Finally, the author summarized the research progress of gas hydrate separation, and pointed out the main directions of industrial application research.
