Abstract:
The popularization of the concept of intelligent development in mines and the demand for intelligent construction have driven research in the field of intelligent mining robots in China. intelligent mining robots have demonstrated significant advantages in enhancing production efficiency, reducing manual labor burdens, and mitigating safety risks. To conduct a detailed analysis of the development, research, and application status of intelligent mining robots in China, first, the background of China’s mining robot development in recent years is outlined. The current status of literature research, patent applications, and talent cultivation in China’s mine robot field are summarized and analyzed. Based on this, the reasons for the uneven development in research directions and content within mine robotics are further explored. Second, the typical application scenarios for each of the seven categories of intelligent mining robots covered in the
Key Research and Development Catalog of Intelligent Mining Robots, respectively, intelligent tunneling robots, intelligent mining robots, intelligent transportation robots, intelligent mineral processing robots, intelligent auxiliary operation robots, intelligent safety monitoring robots, and intelligent rescue robots, are elaborated upon. Some mining robot application scenarios listed in the
Public List of Typical Application Scenarios for Mining Robots and those with proven effectiveness are analyzed respectively to validate the practical outcomes of various intelligent mining robots in replacing manual labor for hazardous and strenuous tasks while enhancing production efficiency and safety. Finally, the common issues and subsequent development trends of intelligent mining robots in China are discussed and prospected. Given the complex and variable mining environment, while China’s intelligent mining robots have achieved notable progress in general-purpose key technologies and application promotion, numerous challenges remain before achieving fully autonomous and unmanned operations. For a considerable period to come, intelligent mining robots in China will remain in a developmental stage.
